G & A Canvas Co. is a mother-and-daughter needlepoint self-finishing brand. We make self-finishing accessories for needlepoint canvases so every stitched canvas gets the ending it deserves.

Why we exist

There's a bag in your closet, isn't there. A finished canvas wrapped in tissue and waiting. Not because you don't care about it, because finishing felt hard, expensive, and somehow even more intimidating than the stitching itself.

We made G & A Canvas Co. to close that gap. Every product ships with everything you need, the right hardware, the right materials, and instructions clear enough that you'll wonder why finishing ever felt hard. No framer. No sewing machine. No waiting.

Our story

It started with a gift.

The daughter wanted to make something for her mom, something handmade, something that would last. She'd spent weeks stitching a canvas she was proud of. All it needed was finishing.

Then she saw the price.

Professional finishing quotes came in at $65, $80, $110. Weeks of wait time. No guarantees it would look the way she imagined. The canvas went back in its bag, and the gift stayed unfinished.

That frustration turned into a question: why is the last step always the hardest one? After enough time testing, failing, and figuring it out, she had an answer. 

Now G & A Canvas Co. makes the finishing products she wished existed, so no stitcher has to choose between a professional result and an affordable one. Every canvas deserves to be finished. Especially the ones made with love.
